The Hampton Roads JATC accepts applications from January 1 until April 3o

Failure to follow instructions may result in delays or rejection.

⚠️ Before You Begin

DO NOT register for this website unless:

• You have been accepted into the apprenticeship program, OR
• You are currently working out of our union hall as a Journeyman, CE, or CW

❗ Website registration is NOT the application.
If you attempt to register as a member, your request will be rejected.

📌 Applicant Responsibility

It is your responsibility to:

• Read and understand all instructions
• Submit all required documents
• Follow all directions exactly

The JATC will not be responsible for incomplete or incorrect applications.

📝 How to Apply

1. Complete the online application
2. Upload ALL required documents
3. Wait for application review and verification
4. You will be contacted to submit payment
   ⚠️ Do NOT bring payment until notified
5. Once complete, you will be scheduled for the next aptitude test

📂 Required Documents

All documents must be uploaded before your application can be submitted.

• Valid Driver’s License
  (Not required for Construction Wireman applicants)
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card
• Transcripts (REQUIRED — not diplomas) from:
  • High School
  • College
  • Technical Schools
• GED Applicants: Must include GED test scores
• Driving Record (dated within 30 days)
• DD-214 (if applicable – veterans only)
• Employment History / Resume

💲 Application Fee

• $25.00 (non-refundable)
• Must be paid by:
  • Cashier’s Check or
  • Money Order
• Payable to: Hampton Roads JATC

🚫 Incomplete Applications
